Bonnie Jasen is an artisan living in Ottawa, Canada. She shares her home with her husband Alec, a dog named Roxy, and two cats, KC and Corky. She is a self-taught cloth doll artist whose passion for doll making began when she realized her stash of material was getting out of hand and something had to be done to clear up some space.

On one of her many visits to a fabric store, a pattern by a local artisan caught her eye and the doll making journey began. That pattern by Jacquie Lecuyer became the basis of her many elf dolls. Evolving with each doll, Bonnie has used her skills to come up with truly unique creations.
